Buttons produce an abnormal sound when being pressed

Cause:

The sound is caused by the denting and rebounding of the steel sheet as a button is being pressed. Since the position of the phone's side buttons and fingerprint button are assembled by multiple components, the sound and elasticity generated will be different. This is normal and does not indicate an issue with your phone.

Solution:

If the buttons do not function properly, back up important data and take your phone and the proof of purchase to an authorized Huawei Customer Service Center for assistance.
