Unable to log in to my Outlook account via Huawei Email

Perform the following steps to troubleshoot:

1. Log in from Outlook/Exchange entry

Try logging in from Outlook/Exchange entry, and entering your email account and password.

2. Enable the POP and IMAP servers

Log in to the web-based Outlook on your computer. Then, go to Settings > Sync email, and enable POP3/SMTP/IMAP/Exchange.

3. Disable the two-step verification feature, and try again

Try logging in to the web-based Outlook, disabling the two-step verification feature, and try again. The process is as follows:
  1. In a browser app on your phone, go to https://account.live.com/proofs/Manage, enter your email address, and touch Next.
  2. Enter the password.

  3. Verify your identity using the personal information you provided when registering your email. (The following uses verification using a phone number as an example.)

  4. Enter the last four digits of your phone number and the verification code.

  5. After verification is successful, select No, thanks.

  6. Locate Two-step verification, and click on Turn off two-step verification.

  7. When the following dialog box appears, touch Yes.

  8. If your screen resembles the following figure, two-step verification has been turned off.

4. If the issue remains unresolved

If the issue remains unresolved, call the Huawei consumer service hotline for further assistance.
