Tips for charging a phone |
Pay attention to the following points during wired charging
- Smartphones use lithium batteries, which have no memory effect. When a new phone is used for the first time, it does not need to be charged or discharged multiple times.
- Use a standard charger to charge your phone at a stable voltage in compliance with applicable standards.
- Remove the charger after your phone is fully charged. Otherwise, the battery lifespan may be shortened due to charging for a long time or a high battery level.
- Avoid charging your phone in environments with extremely low, high, or unstable temperatures.
Pay attention to the following during wireless charging
- Avoid placing any objects, such as magnetic protective cases, magnetic holders, credit cards, passports, or smart keys, between the phone and wireless charger, as this may compromise the performance of the wireless charger or damage the charger. If there are metal objects, wireless charging may be interrupted or stopped.
- If you're using a non-Huawei protective case, remove it and try again.
- If your phone vibrates when a call comes in, your phone's position may shift, causing the wireless charger to stop charging. If this happens frequently, it is recommended that you use wired charging or disable the vibration function during wireless charging.
- When your phone is connected to a wired charger, it will stop wireless charging, and wired mode will be given priority for charging.
If the issue persists, back up your data and take your device and proof of purchase to an authorized Huawei Customer Service Center for assistance.
