Photos I take at close range turn out blurry
Photos I take at close range turn out blurry |
Problem:
When shooting at close range, the camera is slow to focus, or the image is still out of focus after focusing.
Cause:
- When taking photos at close range, the focus accuracy of your phone camera may decrease.
- When your camera is very close to its object, even small movements of your phone may result in it having to refocus.
Solution:
- Steady your phone during shooting.
- Touch the screen to focus manually. If the camera continues to fail to focus, move slightly further away from the object and try again.
Notes for the Mate 20、HUAWEI Mate 40、HUAWEI Mate 30、HUAWEI Mate Xs、HUAWEI Mate X、HUAWEI Mate 20 X、HUAWEI Mate 20 Pro series:
- Super macro mode is activated when the photographed object is 2.5–10 cm (1–4 in.) away from your phone. If the distance between the object and your phone is less than 2.5 cm, the image may be out of focus.
- To enable your phone to automatically enter Super macro mode again, close and open the camera again. To manually enter Super macro mode, zoom to 0.6X. (For EMUI 9.0.0.175 or later, you can also enter Super macro mode under More.)
Notes for the HONOR 20, HONOR 20 Pro, HONOR 20S, HUAWEI nova 5, HUAWEI nova 5 Pro, and HUAWEI nova 5i:
When taking a super macro photo, keep your phone 4 cm away (roughly equivalent to the distance from your fingertip to your second knuckle) from the object for it to focus properly.
