- Click
on the taskbar at the bottom and go to 
Settings > 
Personalization > 
Background.
Click here to go to Background. - Click
on the right of 
Personalized background settings (or Background), to set the background to Image, Slideshow, Solid color, or Windows spotlight.
- Image: Select the image you wish to use as the desktop wallpaper.
- Slideshow: Click Browse, select the folder you want to use, click Choose this folder, and follow the onscreen instructions to enable the Slideshow mode.
- Solid color: Select the color you wish to use as the desktop wallpaper.
- Windows spotlight: Automatically sets your desktop wallpaper to a new, visually stunning image from around the world each day (update frequency depends on network conditions and Microsoft backend servers). It also displays tips and tricks for using Windows.
- The effect of Windows spotlight (such as the frequency of changing the desktop wallpaper image) depends on the actual situation.
- After you select Windows spotlight as the wallpaper, an icon for learning about this image appears on the desktop and cannot be removed.
- To customize the wallpaper, click the button in the lower right corner to browse the image and select one you wish to use by following the onscreen instructions.
- You can download third-party apps to set live wallpapers.
