Method 1: Drag an app from the Windows app list to the desktop
- Click the Windows icon on the taskbar, and then click All apps.

If you cannot find the app in the Windows app list, you can send the app to the desktop shortcuts.

- Right-click the app icon and go to . The app shortcut icon will then appear on the desktop.
If you cannot create a shortcut icon on the desktop using either of the preceding methods, the app does not support desktop shortcut. You can try to pin the app to the taskbar or Windows Start menu to quickly find the app.
Procedure:
Open the Start menu, find the app you wish to pin to the app list, and right-click the app.
- Select Pin to Start to pin the app to the Start menu.
- Go to More > Pin to taskbar to pin the app to the taskbar.
