The font size of third-party app interfaces is too small

Problem

When some third-party apps are running on the computer, the font size of their interface is too small, the fonts overlap, and the font spacing is too small, making it unclear to read.

Cause

As the computer screen resolution is 2K or above, certain third-party apps with lower resolution may not display properly.

Solution

  1. Right-click any black area on the taskbar, and select Task Manager. Go to the Processes tab, right-click the third-party app you were using and click End task.

  2. Right-click the app icon on the desktop and go to Properties > Compatibility.

  3. Go to Change settings for all users > Change high DPI settings > Override high DPI scaling behavior, click the drop-down arrow below, and go to System (Enhanced) > OK.

  4. Run the app again to check if the font is displaying clearly.

If the issue persists, there may be a compatibility issue between the app and Windows. Try to use alternative apps instead.
