My HUAWEI phone/tablet heats up seriously after the Wi-Fi hotspot is enabled |
Problem:
After the Wi-Fi hotspot is enabled for a period of time, the device heats up obviously.
Cause:
- Once the hotspot is turned on, the phone/tablet will emit a signal to allow other phones/tablets to discover and connect to it.
- After other devices are connected to your phone's/tablet's hotspot, your phone/tablet needs to receive and forward data for them.
Therefore, turning on the hotspot will increase power consumption, and the phone/tablet will generate some heat. This heat generation can be more pronounced in poor heat dissipation environments, when many devices are connected to the hotspot, or when there is a high volume of uploads and downloads.
Solution:
Use the device in a well-ventilated environment. Remember to turn off the hotspot promptly after use. If you keep the hotspot on, this feature will still consume power and cause your phone/tablet to generate heat even if other devices do not connect to it.
