Problem
The computer cannot connect to a USB flash drive through the USB-C port via docking station.
Cause
- The computer is incompatible with the docking station driver.
- The docking station or external device is faulty.
Solution
Perform the following to troubleshoot:
- Power off and then power on your computer, reconnect your computer to the docking station and USB flash drive (or another external device), and check whether these devices can be recognized.
- Connect the docking station or USB flash drive to another computer and try again. If the issue persists, the docking station or USB flash drive may be faulty.
- Open Huawei PC Manager, go to , and check for and install the BIOS driver update.
The user interface may vary depending on the PC Manager version.
- If the issue persists, back up your data and take your device and proof of purchase to an authorized Huawei Customer Service Center for assistance.
