After I power on my HUAWEI computer, the login screen and password dialog box are not displayed

Problem

After the user powered off the Windows computer, the login screen was not displayed for accessing the Windows system again.

Cause

The system is not booted correctly.

Solution

  1. Press Ctrl+Alt+Del and click Cancel to exit the lock screen and enter the system.

  2. Press and hold the Power button for more than 10s to power off the device. Then, power it on and try again.
  3. For details about how to enter Safe mode and modify system configurations, see Enabling or disabling Safe mode on my computer. To do this, perform the following:
    1. Press Win+R. In the Run window, enter msconfig and click OK.

    1. In the displayed System Configuration window, go to General > Normal startup and click OK. Restart the computer to fix the issue.

If the issue persists

If the issue persists, back up your data in advance, record your Office account, and use F10 to restore your computer to its factory settings. If the issue remains unresolved, take your device and proof of purchase to an authorized Huawei Customer Service Center for assistance. We will do our best to address your needs.
