Unable to set a maximum number of connections for my personal hotspot

Problem:

On the phone's hotspot settings screen or after going to Configure hotspot > Show advanced options, the Max connections allowed option is not found, resulting in the user being unable to set the maximum number of connections for the personal hotspot.

Cause:

To prevent misoperations, the Max connections allowed option has been removed. The maximum number of connections allowed for personal hotspots is set to eight by default.

Note: 1.This FAQ is not applicable to phone models on which the Max connections allowed option is still available.

2. In the Middle East, Europe, and Russia, the maximum number of personal hotspot connections for all mobile phones and tablets is 5.
