Unable to find Intel® Graphics Control Panel after right-clicking on the desktop

Problem:

After the user right-clicks on the desktop, they cannot find Intel® Graphics Control Panel.

Cause:

Due to changes made by Microsoft and to the Intel graphics card driver, Intel® Graphics Control Panel now needs to be manually downloaded and installed from the Microsoft Store. After the app is installed, it will be added to the app list in the startup menu and will not be displayed after you right-click on the blank area on the desktop.

Solution:

To manually download Intel® Graphics Control Panel, perform the following:

  1. Click the Microsoft Store icon on the taskbar and search for Intel. Select Intel® Graphics Control Panel.

  2. Download and install Intel® Graphics Control Panel.

  3. After the app is installed, you can click Launch to open Intel® Graphics Control Panel. You can also click the Windows icon and then Intel® Graphics Control Panel to open it.
