When you use certain software, a system message may be displayed indicating that you are unable to open the program because you have not obtained the administrator's permission. To resolve this, change the program settings to run it as an administrator.

1. Right-click the program and click Properties.

   

2. Click Compatibility and check Run this program as an administrator. If there are multiple users for this computer, click Change settings for all users.

3. Check Run this program as an administrator. Then, click OK. In this case, you will run the program as an administrator regardless of which account is used to log in to the system.
