Disable the automatic installation of drivers

The Windows 10 system automatically updates certain drivers, in particular the graphics card driver, which can frequently lead to black screen issues. To resolve this issue, you can disable the automatic installation of drivers.

  1. Enter This PC in the search box on the taskbar and open the app.

  1. Right-click any blank area on the This PC screen and click Properties.

  1. Click Advanced system settings and then Device Installation Settings under Hardware.

  1. Select No (your device might not work as expected) and then Save Changes.

Note: If you want the system to install the driver automatically, select Yes (recommended).
