Check, add, modify or remove APN information

To check APN information:

1. Click the Windows icon and the Settings icon, and then select Network & Internet.

   

2. Click Cellular and then Advanced options.

   

3. Then information of access points will be displayed.

   

4. click Default APN under Internet APN and then View.

   

   

To add APN information:

 

• You are not advised to add new APN information unless you have obtained the correct APN information from your network carrier or Huawei. If so, use APN information that you have obtained from your network carrier or Huawei.
• If the default APN information is not displayed after you inserted the SIM card, it may be because you need to add new APN information or you may not have access to the Internet. Contact your network carrier or Huawei hotline staff beforehand about adding APN information.

1. Click the Windows icon and the Settings icon, and then select Network & Internet. Click Cellular and then Advanced options. Click Add an APN.

   

2. Enter APN information and click Save.
   

   Profile name: Enter a preferred name.

   APN: Mandatory, enter APN information.

   User name/Password: Optional, enter your user name and password.

   Type of sign-in info: Optional, select based on the actual type.

   IP type: Optional, select based on the actual type.

   

To modify or remove APN information:

Only you are able to modify or remove the APN information that you created.

Click the newly added APN and then click Edit to modify the APN information. To remove the APN information, click Delete.
