A prompt indicating that Wi-Fi has been disconnected is displayed

Cause:

Your phone may display a message indicating that Wi-Fi has been disconnected because:

  1. No Wi-Fi hotspot is available nearby.

  2. The mobile data service has been enabled.

  3. Ask before switching to mobile data has been enabled.

If you select Change, your phone will switch to the mobile data service. If you select Cancel, your phone won't switch to the mobile data service.

Solution:

To disable the Ask before switching to mobile data prompt, open Settings, search for and touch Wi-Fi/Mobile data switch, and select Switch to mobile data or Never switch to mobile data.
