Restarting Windows Explorer on a HUAWEI computer

Windows Explorer is used to view and manage all file resources on the computer. If the computer gets stuck or breaks down, you can restart Windows Explorer to recover the system.

Procedure:

  1. Right-click the Windows icon () and select Task Manager.

If the system version of your computer is earlier than 22H2, and the Processes tab is hidden, click More details in the lower left corner, then go to step 2.

  2. Restart the corresponding process of Windows Explorer.
    • In the Processes tab, locate and right-click Windows Explorer, and select Restart.

    • Alternatively, click Run new task (For Windows 10: Go to File > Run new task), enter explorer.exe, and click OK.
