[HUAWEI] VO2Max data does not display during outdoor workouts |
What is VO2Max
- VO2Max, or maximum oxygen uptake, refers to the maximum rate of oxygen consumption (ml/kg/min) measured during maximal exercise. It is an important indicator of cardiorespiratory fitness and aerobic endurance capacity.
- To view your VO2Max, go to Huawei Health > Health > Exercise records and select an outdoor walk/run record.
Requirements for VO2Max to display
Firstly, VO2Max data is only available for outdoor run and walk sessions that are initiated on your watch/band. Secondly:
- During a run: Average speed should stay above 7.2 km/h after a 10-min warm-up, and always exhibit a minute-by-minute change within ±1 km/h. If running speeds keep fluctuating (for example, the running pauses frequently), the average speed for between the 8th and 10th minutes of every measurement period should stay above 7.2 km/h.
- During a brisk walk: Cadence should stay over at least 100 steps/min for two kilometers.
If the requirement above are met yet the issue persists, please contact the Huawei customer service hotline for assistance. We will do our best to address your needs.
Thanks for your feedback.
