[HUAWEI] No workout route displays in the Huawei Health app after I start an outdoor workout on my band/watch

Check whether your watch/band supports independent GPS positioning:

(Search by "product model + independent GPS" on WeKnow, or click Product Features on the WeKnow home page then search by the product model.)

  • If your watch/band does not support independent GPS positioning, it will not be able to record the outdoor workout routes when you don't bring your phone with you.

    If your watch/band does not support independent GPS positioning, you need to use your phone's GPS to record workout routes with the Huawei Health app.

    • If you are using a phone running EMUI 5.0/iOS 9.0 or later, start an outdoor workout on your watch/band that is connected to the Huawei Health app, and take your phone with you during the workout. Alternatively, start an outdoor workout in the Huawei Health app. Make sure that your watch/band is connected to the Huawei Health app and take your phone with you during the workout.
    • If you are using a third-party phone running Android 6.0 or later, start an outdoor workout in the Huawei Health app. Make sure that your watch/band is connected to the Huawei Health app and take your phone with you during the workout.
    • When using your phone's GPS to record workout routes, make sure that you turn on the mobile data switch.
  • If your watch/band supports independent GPS positioning:
    • Check whether the workout route is available in Workout records on the watch. If not, troubleshoot by referring to [HUAWEI] The outdoor workout routes on my watch/band are inaccurate.

      If you are using a HUAWEI Band (for example, HUAWEI Band 3 Pro or HUAWEI Band 4 Pro), you cannot check workout routes on your band. In this case, connect your band to your phone and swipe down on the home screen of the Huawei Health app, or open the Huawei Health app and go to Me > Settings > Sync data manually to sync your workout routes.

    • If the workout route is displayed in Workout records on the watch, make sure that your watch/band is connected to your phone and swipe down on the home screen of the Huawei Health app, or open the Huawei Health app and go to Me > Settings > Sync data manually to sync your workout routes.
