Chatting on the kids watch

1. Swipe on the kids watch home screen, find and open Chat, and select a contact or group you wish to chat with to go to the chatting screen.
2. Chatting:
   • One-to-one chat
     • Touch and hold to record a voice message, and release the button to send the voice message; touch to select the Gallery, photo taking, or video shooting as required; touch to send preset emoticons as needed.
      

     • The kids watch can send videos up to 10 MB only.
   • To create a group chat, touch Create group on the chat screen of the kids watch, and add friends.
   • To delete or exit a group chat, go to + > Manage group chats on the lower left corner of the group chat screen of the watch.
     

     Group chats created on the kids watch cannot be renamed.

     You can touch and hold a picture to save it.

   • To clear or delete chat records:

     Touch and hold a contact or group chat in the chat list on the kids watch, and touch Clear to clear all chat records with the contact or group chat. You can also enter a group chat or a one-to-one chat and then touch and hold a specific chat record or multiple chat records to clear it or them.

Chatting in the HUAWEI FamCare app

• Family members who are linked to the kids watch and become admins are automatically added to the family group chat.
• Admins: Open the HUAWEI FamCare app, touch Communication at the bottom, and select the child or the family group chat to go to the chatting screen. You can send text, voice, pictures, and preset emoticons.
• Main admin: Touch in the upper right corner of the chatting screen of the family group chat, and touch next to the chat's name to change it. After entering the new name, save the change by touching √ in the upper right corner.
• Admins: Touch in the upper right corner of a group chat screen and touch My nickname in the group to change the nickname.
• Admins: Touch in the upper right corner of a group chat screen and enable Display group member nicknames to display group members' nicknames and profile pictures. The relationship with the child (such as mom) will be displayed in the group chat on the kids watch.
• Admins: Touch in the upper right corner of a group chat screen, and touch Clear chat history.
