How to prevent scratches and abrasion on my HUAWEI watch/band screen

Huawei adopts strict appearance standards for wearables. Their screens are strictly inspected before delivery. You can follow the following tips during daily use to prevent scratches and abrasion:

  • When using the device, prevent it from hitting or rubbing against other objects, or being dropped onto the ground (including granite surface, concrete, and ceramic tile).
  • Avoid wearing the device with other hard objects such as bracelets, and avoid keeping the device in contact with metal, hard zippers, or buttons.
  • Try to keep the screen in contact with soft materials (such as fabrics) if you leave the device idle. Avoid letting the device come into contact with sharp objects (such as keys, coins, metal materials, rings, and gravels).
  • To further protect against scratches, a screen protector is advised.

  • If your screen is badly scratched and it affects day-to-day use, take your device and proof of purchase to an authorized Huawei Customer Service Center for assistance.
