Viewing or modifying the Wi-Fi name and password of the HUAWEI Mobile WiFi
 
  • login password is the login password for the Mobile WiFi management page, not the connection password for WLAN.
  • When setting a Wi-Fi password, it is recommended to use at least 8 characters, including uppercase and lowercase letters；
  • To ensure security, it is better to change your Wi-Fi password on a regular basis.
  • If you are unable to enter the login page:
    1. Please check if your phone/computer is connected to the network of the HUAWEI Mobile WiFi.
    2. Please try using the IP address displayed on the Huawei Mobile WiFi nameplate, as some carriers may use customized IP addresses.
  1. Connect your phone/computer to the network of the HUAWEI Mobile WiFi.
  2. Enter 192.168.8.1 in the address bar of a browser, and enter the login password of the web-based management page to log in. If you are using a phone to connect to the router’s Wi-Fi, please tap the three-dot icon in the upper-right corner of the page and switch to the desktop version before proceeding with the following steps.
  3. Go to Wi-Fi Settings > Wi-Fi Basic Settings to view or change the Wi-Fi name and password.
