Lockdown adds security to your tablet access. Once Lockdown mode is enabled, you can only unlock your tablet using your lock screen password. Fingerprint unlock and face unlock will temporarily be disabled.

A lock screen password needs to be set in order to use this feature.

1. Go to Settings > Biometrics & password > Secure lock settings , and enable Show Lockdown option.

2. Press and hold the Power button until the Lockdown button is displayed on the screen.

3. Touch Lockdown to enable this mode. Once it has been enabled, your tablet can only be unlocked using the lock screen password.

4. Once your tablet has been unlocked, Lockdown mode will no longer be enabled. The next time you unlock your tablet, you can use fingerprint unlock or face unlock as normal.

   If you need to re-enable Lockdown mode, press and hold the Power button and touch the Lockdown button again.
