Taking measurements with a body fat scale |
Note:
- To ensure accurate measurement data, place the scale on a flat, hard surface. Avoid placing it on soft, uneven surfaces, such as a cushion or rug.
- Stand on the scale with bare feet and try to wear light clothes. Ensure that the soles of your feet and the surface of the scale are clean, and free of metal objects or water.
- Try to perform the measurement at the same time and under the same conditions every day to get a more accurate comparison for your fitness and health status.
- To ensure accurate heart rate data, start measuring when you are feeling calm.
- This device is not suitable for individuals with an implanted medical device, such as a pacemaker or cochlear implant, or for pregnant women or infants.
If you're using the HUAWEI Scale 2 Pro or HUAWEI Scale 3 Pro: Step on the scale barefoot, pull out the handles (L for your left hand and R for your right), hold them tightly with your arms stretched out forward, and stand upright. After the measurement, put back the handles (L on the left side and R on the right).
Starting a measurement using the Huawei Health app
- Open the Huawei Health app, tap the scale lightly to activate it, touch Measure in the app, and follow the onscreen instructions to start the measurement. Alternatively, on the Huawei Health app, touch Devices and then the connected scale's card, tap the scale lightly to activate it, touch START in the app, and follow the onscreen instructions to start the measurement.
- Step on the scale barefoot and stand upright.
- The scale will measure your weight first. Your weight value will flash three times before the display turns steady. Do not step off the scale, as it'll continue to measure other health data, during which
will be displayed scrolling across the screen. When the scale display switches between showing your weight and body fat percentage results, this indicates that the measurement is complete. Remember that you should not step off the scale until now.
- View the results in the Huawei Health app.

Starting a measurement directly
- HUAWEI Scale 3 and HUAWEI Scale 3 Pro: This feature is supported when the scale is connected to the Internet but disconnected from the Huawei Health app via Bluetooth.
- HUAWEI Scale 2 Pro & HUAWEI Scale 3 (Bluetooth Edition): This feature is supported when the scale is disconnected from the Huawei Health app via Bluetooth.
- HONOR Scale Series: This feature is unavailable when pairing with the Huawei Health app on an Android phone, but is available when pairing with the Huawei Health app on an iPhone.
- Step on the scale barefoot and stand upright.
- The scale will measure your weight first. When the display of your weight value turns steady, if you only want your weight data, you can step off the scale. Otherwise, stay on the scale as it continues to measure other health indicators such as body fat percentage (
) and heart rate (
), whose icon stays on during measurement.
- After the measurement is complete, the measurement data will be synced to your phone automatically once the scale is connected to the Huawei Health app.
