Cancel the device lock using Find Device

This knowledge also applies to tablets.

Once a device is locked, you can only unlock it using the lock screen password. This is the only way to unlock the device. No one, not even Huawei, will be able to unlock your device in any other ways or retrieve your lock screen password.

If no lock screen password has been set before locking the device, you can only unlock it using the PIN you set when locking it.

After unlocking your device with the lock screen password you have previously set, your device will enter Super power saving mode. Just exit the mode to use your device as normal.

Note: If you have also erased all data from your device, it will restore to its factory settings. In this case, the lock screen password will become invalid, and you will need to use the password of your HUAWEI ID to activate your device.
