Problem

The laptop is restarted, and when the page with the Huawei logo is displayed and the system is loading, the lid is closed. Two minutes later, the lid is reopened, but the screen can't be turned on, and the Caps Lock and Function key indicators are both on.

Cause

This is not an indication of an issue with the system. When the lid is closed during a restart when the Huawei logo is displayed, the screen turns off. When you reopen the lid, you can use the keyboard to turn on the screen.

Solution

When the screen is off, press any key on the keyboard to turn on the screen.
