My HUAWEI Eyewear series device is not sensitive or does not respond to swipe controls

When you are wearing your eyewear to play music or videos, or make calls, you can swipe on the temples to adjust the volume. If the swipe controls do not work, are not sensitive, or do not respond as expected, refer to the following:

  1. Make sure that the Bluetooth connection is stable when wearing the eyewear. Try playing music on your phone to check that sound is coming from both sides of the eyewear.
  2. Swipe on the entire swiping area at a proper speed until you hear the prompt tone.
     
    • You can only adjust the volume by one bar per swipe. Adjust the number of swipes based on your requirements.
    • When you need to hold down on, double-tap, or adjust your eyewear, avoid swiping on the temples.

  3. Enable Bluetooth absolute volume or Sync volume with phone.
  4. Smudges such as sweat and oil stains on the swiping areas of temples or on your hands may affect the swipe controls. You can use cotton swabs or lint-free cloth to wipe the eyewear, clean your hands, and see if the issue is resolved.

If the issue persists, take your device and proof of purchase to a nearby Huawei Customer Service Center for assistance.
