A red exclamation icon is displayed on the pairing prompt

Problem

1. A red exclamation icon is displayed under the earphones or charging case on the automatic pairing prompt.

Cause

1. For EMUI 11.0, a red exclamation icon will be displayed on the prompt if there is a problem with the earphones.
2. For EMUI 10.1 MR, a red exclamation icon will be displayed on the prompt if your phone/tablet fails to obtain the battery level of the earphones.

Solution

1. If your phone/tablet runs EMUI 11.0, follow the onscreen instructions next to the red exclamation icon to troubleshoot the issue.
2. If your phone/tablet runs EMUI 10.1 MR, place both earphones into the charging case again, press and hold the button on the charging case until the earphones enter Pairing mode, and pair them them again.
