Device update fails

Device update fails

Before the update, make sure that the network is normal, and that the device is charged to at least 50%. You can update the device through either of the following ways:

  • Open HUAWEI AI Life (HUAWEI Smart Home), go to Me > Settings, and touch Device updates or Version update.

    The update entry can vary according to the phone/tablet model.

  • On the app Home screen, touch the device to be updated, touch the button in the upper right corner, go to Device information > Firmware version , and then touch Update.

    The update entry can vary according to the device model.

If the update still fails after the above operations are performed, restart the device when it is connected to the wireless network, and then perform the update again.
