Set an automatic power-off time for the earphones

Description

The automatic power-off time can be set to 1h, 2h, 3h, 12h, and 24h (supported by the latest version of earphones).

Settings

Perform the following steps using the AI Life app or in Settings on a device running EMUI:

  1. Use the latest version of the AI Life app

After connecting the earphones to the phone, open the AI Life app and go to Settings > Auto power off in the corresponding earphones card. Select a time period depending on your preferences.

  2. Use Settings on EMUI 11.0/HarmonyOS 2.0

After connecting the earphones to the phone, go to Settings > Bluetooth > PAIRED DEVICES. Find HUAWEI FreeBuds Studio and touch to its right. Then go to More settings > Auto power off and select a time period depending on your preferences.

  1. The earphones will enter the sleep state after having been removed for 30 minutes (with Bluetooth disconnected). Once the preset power-off time is up, the earphones will automatically power off.
  2. When the earphones are in sleep mode, you can wear them again to wake them up and reconnect the Bluetooth.
  3. After the earphones automatically power off, you can press and hold the power button for 2 seconds to power them on again.
  4. The AI Life app on iOS devices does not support this feature.
  5. If you are using the Bluetooth settings on EMUI/HarmonyOS, update Audio product manager to version 11.0.1.105 or later from App management Me Updates.
