A Security Alert dialog box pops up after I click Quick services |
Problem
The user opens PC Manager, clicks Quick services, and then sees that a Security Alert dialog box pops up.
Cause
The web page content is actually loading when this screen is loading. And when the system or the computer's network encounters an error, a Security Alert dialog box will pop up resulting in the security certificate not being able to be downloaded or installed.
Solution
There are two solutions to resolve this issue. First, check whether the system time displayed on the computer is correct. If it is not correct, use solution 1 to resolve this issue. Otherwise, perform solution 2 to resolve this issue.
Solution 1:
1. Click the Windows icon in the bottom-left corner and then click the Settings icon.
2. Click Time & Language and toggle the switch of Set time automatically to On.
The system will then display the correct time when the computer connects to the network.
Solution 2:
1. Open Internet Explorer, click the Settings icon (three-dot icon), and click Internet options.
2. Click Advanced, then uncheck Check for publisher's certificate revocation and uncheck Check for server certificate revocation*.
Restart Internet Explorer or the computer, open PC Manager, then click Quick services.
