- Open the Huawei Health app, touch Devices, and select the scale name to enter its details screen. Make sure the scale shows as connected.
- Touch Firmware update, and go to the Firmware update screen to view the current system version of your device.
- Touch Check for updates to start an update check. If there are updates, follow the onscreen instructions to update your scale. If there are no updates, your scale is up to date.
- During an update, the scale screen will show
with lines flashing around the rectangle. When the update is complete, the scale will show 
and restart. - Only the admin can update the scale.
- You can enable automatic updates by going to the Firmware update screen, selecting the Settings icon in the upper right corner, and enabling Auto-update over Wi-Fi. When this option is enabled and the scale is connected to a Wi-Fi network, the scale will automatically download and install updates.
- Do not step on the scale, press the scale, or remove the batteries during an update.
- If an update fails, please try again.
