Unable to wake up a computer that is preset to power off when the lid is closed from Sleep mode by opening the lid

Problem

After setting the action of closing the lid to power off, some computers in Sleep mode will power off when the lid is closed and then opened. In this case, the system will no longer remain in Sleep mode after the lid is closed, and the computer can't be woken from Sleep mode by opening the lid.

Cause

The system has been set to power off when the lid is closed, but no special processing is performed for operations in Sleep mode. Therefore, the computer still powers off in Sleep mode.

Solution

1. When your computer is in Sleep mode, it will not power off if you do not close the lid.
2. Huawei will report this issue to Microsoft and follow up with a solution.
