Problem:

A message displays asking the user to complete the date of birth before creating a child account for a kids watch.

Solution:

• HUAWEI phones

  Go to Settings > Account center > Personal information > Date of birth, enter the correct date of birth, and touch OK.

  

  You can only create a child account for the watch when your phone's HUAWEI ID is an account that belongs to an adult (18 years old or above). Please fill in your actual date of birth.

• Non-HUAWEI phones

  Use a browser to log in to HUAWEI Mobile Cloud, touch the account nickname in the upper right corner, go to My HUAWEI ID > Personal Info, complete the date of birth, and save the setting.
