How can I use the HUAWEI router's web-based management page to associate a static IP address

Associating your computer's IP address and MAC address can effectively protect against ARP spoofing attacks. After association, attackers will be unable to use ARP spoofing techniques to steal your computer's IP address.

 

• If the uplink router is a HUAWEI router, the feature settings will be consistent with those on the uplink HUAWEI router. To change the settings, modify them on the uplink router.
• If the uplink router is not a HUAWEI router, refer to the following.

1. Log into the router's web-based management page.
2. Go to More Functions > Network Settings > LAN.

   

3. Single click the icon in Static IP Address Binding List to add an association

   

4. Add the MAC address and IP address of the device you want to associate in the Reserve Static IP Address pop-up dialog box.
5. Click OK.
