Syncing Microsoft account settings in Windows 10

You can use the Microsoft account syncing feature to sync settings such as themes, passwords, and language preferences across multiple Windows devices.

 

• If you sign in with a local account, you will not be able to use this feature.

Syncing Microsoft account settings:

1. Sign in to the system using a Microsoft account, click the Windows icon and then the Settings icon, and select Accounts.

   

2. Select Sync your settings and turn on the switch for Sync settings.

   

Stopping syncing account settings and remove them from the cloud:

1. Click the Windows icon and then the Settings icon, go to Accounts > Sync your settings, and turn off the switch for Sync settings.
2. After the preceding operation is complete, sign in to the official Microsoft website (https://account.microsoft.com/devices) with your Microsoft account, select Clear synced settings, and follow the onscreen instructions to complete the following operations.
