Videos are not clear on the HUAWEI Vision

Solution

Thank you for your attention to and support for the HUAWEI Vision. Please perform the following steps to troubleshoot:

  1. Check whether you are projecting a video on your phone to the HUAWEI Vision, as the color display and definition are subject to your phone screen specifications during screen projection. This is not an issue of the HUAWEI Vision device.
  2. In non-projection mode, check the network speed of the HUAWEI Vision by going to Settings > Connections > Network > Speed test. If the test fails, the blurry playback or the poor display effect is caused by insufficient home network bandwidth or other network issues.
  3. On the HUAWEI Vision home screen, go to All apps > Media and play a pre-set 4K online video to check whether the video is clear. Alternatively, switch to 4K definition when prompted during video playback, and check whether the video is clear.
  4. If the HUAWEI Vision can play 4K videos properly, the video source or the input device (such as the STB) may be faulty. You are advised to check the STB connection by referring to the STB user guide or contact the STB carrier.
