HDMI signal input issue with the HUAWEI Vision

Solution:

Perform the following steps:

  1. Remove the HDMI cable and reconnect it, and remove any dust from the HDMI ports of the STB and Vision.
  2. Check whether the HDMI cable is faulty by connecting the cable to another HDMI port of the Vision or replacing the cable.
  3. Press the Menu button on the remote control, select the HDMI version, reset the HDMI version as prompted, and reconnect to the HDMI device.
  4. From the Vision home screen, go to Settings > General > Advanced > Reset > Reset, and click OK when prompted in order to reset the device to its factory settings.

    This will erase all data in the internal storage. Exercise caution when doing so. The following data will be erased:

    • Your account information
    • App data and system settings
    • Installed apps
    • Audio files
    • Pictures
    • All files in the internal storage
