The HUAWEI Vision cannot power on or off correctly or its remote control malfunctions after a USB storage device is connected

Problem:

When a USB flash drive or hard disk is inserted into the Vision, the following issues occur:

Scenario 1:

When the user presses the power button on the remote control to restart the Vision, then uses the remote control to access the Vision settings and restores the Vision to its factory settings, or removes and inserts the power cable of the Vision, the Vision screen freezes on the startup logo screen.

Scenario 2:

The user presses the power button on the remote control or on the Vision to power off the Vision, but the Vision then cannot power back on.

Scenario 3:

The Vision system stutters and the remote control does not work.

Cause:

Some USB flash drives or hard disks are incompatible with the Vision's hardware (such as hardware for supplying power and the main control board). When the USB device does not respond to instructions from the Vision, the Vision periodically sends instructions to restore the USB device. If the USB device still does not respond, the Vision may not be able to power on or off normally or the remote control may not work properly.

Solution:

1. Remove the USB flash drive or hard disk, and then remove and insert the power cable to restart the Vision.

2. Insert the USB flash drive or hard disk after the Vision is powered on.

3. If this issue frequently occurs, replace the USB flash drive or hard disk.
