No notifications for missed calls on my HUAWEI phone

If notifications for missed calls don't display, try the following steps first:

  1. Check whether the Contacts and Call logs permissions are enabled.

To do so, open Settings, search for and access Apps, locate and touch Contacts, touch Permissions, and set the Contacts and Call logs permissions to Allow.

  2. Disable access to notifications for all apps.

To do so, open Settings, search for and access Notification access, and toggle off all switches.

  3. Set a preset theme

If a third-party theme is set on your phone, go to Themes > Me > Preset themes, set a preset theme, and try again.

If the app icon badge doesn't display for the Phone app

Open Settings, search for and access App icon badges, and toggle on the Phone switch.

If banner/lock screen notifications for missed calls don't display

  • Open Settings, search for and access Apps, then Contacts, touch Notifications, and toggle off the Gentle notifications switch.

If notifications for missed calls don't display on the lock screen

There may be too many notifications stacked on the lock screen. As a result, the missed call notifications are ignored.

If the issue persists or you encounter any difficulties while doing this, please call the Huawei customer service hotline for assistance.
