The display has a color cast |
Problem
After the monitor is powered on, the display has a yellow cast, blue cast, and the image is distorted.
Cause
- The cable is in poor contact.
- The host's source input is unstable.
Solution
Check whether the cable is a standard Huawei cable.
Remove the cable and insert it again. If the issue persists, try another cable.
Check whether the source input is stable. Try another host to check whether the display is normal.
Set Color temperature and Low blue light in the OSD menu to adjust the display color.
Go to Settings > Color > Low blue light. If the switch is turned on, the overall screen will look warm and yellowish. The Low blue light mode removes some of the blue light that is harmful to your vision and adjusts the display color for it to be warm and yellowish. If you turn off the switch for Low blue light, the display color will go back to normal.
Go to Settings > Color > Color temperature. If Color temperature is set to Standard, normal colors will be displayed. If it is set to Cool, there will be a blue cast. If it is set to Warm, there will be a yellow cast. If it is set to Custom, the red, green, and blue colors can be manually set, with each value ranging from 0 to 100.
If the issue persists, call the customer service hotline or arrange a door-to-door service.
