Audio is played from the HUAWEI monitor connected to my computer, after I connect a headset to the computer |
Problem
The user connects a monitor to a computer (desktop or laptop), then connects a 3.5 mm wired headset or Bluetooth headset to the computer. However, audio is played from the monitor, instead of from the headset.
Cause
The headset is not selected as the audio output device.
Solution
Connect the headset to another computer. If the issue persists, the headset is faulty. If sound is played from the headset, perform the following operations according to your computer's operating system: Windows 10/Windows 11
Windows 10

If you are using a third-party audio player, make sure that you switch the headset as the audio output device in the player settings.
