Problem
After opening an image or video using Windows Photo Viewer or Windows Media Player, the computer does not respond when the user selects the option to obtain this file from the computer on the phone. A message is displayed on the phone screen indicating that the file failed to be obtained and the user is asked to use Huawei Image Viewer on the computer and try again.
Cause
After opening an image or video using Windows Photo Viewer or Windows Media Player, the name of the file is displayed in the title bar of the app. AI Life then uses the file name to search for the location of the file in the recent projects of the system. Errors may occur due to the algorithm. As a result, the file may not be found, and an error message will be displayed on the phone.
Solution
You can use Huawei Image Viewer to open your desired image or video and obtain the file from the computer again.
