Clearer voices on HUAWEI FreeBuds series earphones |
The Clearer voices feature improves voice clarity across a wide range of different scenarios, resulting in a better listening experience.
- The Clearer voices feature is only supported on FreeBuds Pro 2/FreeBuds Lipstick/FreeBuds 4/FreeBuds Pro. You'll need to update the earphones' firmware and the AI Life app to their latest versions. This feature is not currently available in the AI Life app on iOS devices.
- This feature is most suitable for people who are not sensitive to differences between voices. Since the feature may affect voice quality and volume, you can decide whether to enable it as needed.
- Enable Clearer voices:
Open the AI Life app, touch the earphones card, and go to Settings > Clearer voices (or touch the earphones card and go to Clearer voices for certain earphone models).
- Select a scenario depending on your surroundings.

Media
Enhances the clarity of voices in media content.
- If you receive a call during the hearing test, a prompt will play indicating that the test is unable to continue. In this case, you can perform the test again after you have finished with your call.
- If you feel that the sound quality is poor or unnatural, or that the volume has changed after enabling this feature, you can perform another hearing test in a quiet environment or enable/disable Clearer voices as prompted.
- The more times that you select No during the hearing test, the greater the hearing compensation. There will be intermittent beeping throughout the test. Clearer voices suppresses feedback, to ensure that the beeps do not damage your ears. However, if you find the buzzing sounds uncomfortable, disable the feature.
