The Bluetooth status is unstable after my HUAWEI computer's Bluetooth driver is updated to version 22.60

Problem

Bluetooth on the laptop is unstable, the Bluetooth switch in the notification bar repeatedly disappears, and the version of the Bluetooth driver is 22.60.0.6 or 22.60.2.2.

Cause

The Bluetooth driver (version 22.60.0.6 or 22.60.2.2) pushed by Microsoft is not a commercial driver for HUAWEI computers.

Solution

  1. Use Huawei PC Manager to check for and install the Bluetooth driver update. To do so, perform the following operations.
    • If you are using the latest version of PC Manager, open it and go to Optimization > Drivers > CHECK > UPDATE. After the update is complete, restart your computer.

  2. Uninstall the Bluetooth driver, and update the Bluetooth driver through PC Manager. To do so, perform the following operations.
    1. Enter Device Manager in the search box on the taskbar and open it.

    2. On the Device Manager screen, select Bluetooth, right-click Intel(R) Wireless Bluetooth(R), and select Uninstall device.

    3. In the displayed window, select Delete the driver software for this device. and click Uninstall.

    4. Restart your computer, open Huawei PC Manager, check for updates, and install the Bluetooth driver update.
  3. If the issue persists, back up your data, activate your Office account, and use F10 to restore your device to its factory settings. If the issue remains unresolved, take your device and proof of purchase to an authorized Huawei Customer Service Center for assistance.
