Delete a Petal Mail account

1. If you no longer need your Petal Mail account but want to retain your HUAWEI ID:

  • You can disable the Petal Mail service.

Web: Log in to your account on the official Petal Mail website, select Mail settings in the upper right corner, then select Disable Petal Mail service. Disabling the Petal Mail service will not affect the use of your HUAWEI ID.

App: Log in to your account in the Petal Mail app, open the sidebar, touch Settings in the lower left corner, select a Petal Mail account you want to delete, and touch Disable Petal Mail.

  • After disabling the Petal Mail service:

    1. You will no longer be able to use your Petal Mail address to send or receive emails. In addition, if you have used your Petal Mail address to register for other service accounts, you will not be able to receive email verification codes for these services.

    2. Your emails and email settings will be retained on the server for 30 days. If you log in to your Petal Mail account again within these 30 days, your data will be retained. Otherwise, your data will be permanently deleted.

    3. You can still keep this Petal Mail address, and other people cannot register an account using this address.

    4. Your Petal Mail service will be disabled, but your HUAWEI ID will not be disabled. You can still log in to your HUAWEI ID and use other Huawei services.

2. If you no longer need your Petal Mail account and do not want to retain your HUAWEI ID:

Open Settings on your Huawei mobile device, touch the profile picture icon, then go to Account center > Account security > Security center > Delete account to delete your HUAWEI ID.

If the option to Delete account is not available, update your device to the latest version in Account center > Settings > Check for updates and try again.

When you delete your HUAWEI ID, your Petal Mail account will also be deleted and cannot be registered again. Exercise caution when performing this operation.
