Saving and viewing draft projects in Petal Clip

When editing a project, if you want to save the project as a draft, perform the following steps:

Save as draft

Method 1

  1. Open any video in Gallery, and touch Edit.
  2. On the Petal Clip editing screen, edit the video using any tool in the tool bar.
  3. Touch the back icon in the upper left corner, and touch Save draft to Petal Clip and add home screen shortcut.

After opening the Petal Clip app from Gallery, you'll need to edit a video before touching the back icon to go to the Petal Clip home screen. If you directly touch the back icon without editing a video, you will be taken back to Gallery.

Method 2

  1. Touch the Petal Clip shortcut on the home screen to open it, and touch GET STARTED.
  2. Edit a video using any tool in the tool bar.
  3. Touch the back button in the upper left corner on the editing screen. The draft will be automatically saved.

Check drafts:

Touch the Petal Clip shortcut on the home screen to open it, and check drafts.

If you can't find draft projects on the Petal Clip home screen, the possible causes are:

  • Video editing projects are saved in the local cache, which will be cleared when you uninstall Petal Clip. If you have uninstalled and reinstalled the app, your draft files may have been cleared (and cannot be restored).
  • If you have downloaded any third-party data deletion software, your video editing projects may have been accidentally deleted (and cannot be restored) when you cleared the cache.
