The brightness isn't the default value after I restore my computer to its factory settings |
Problem
After the user adjusts the computer's brightness to a certain value (for example, to 100), restores the computer to its factory settings, and opens the display settings screen again, the brightness isn't restored to the default value 50, but is 100 instead.
Cause
This is a known issue with the Windows operating system.
Solution
1. Right-click any blank area on the desktop and click Display settings.
2. Use the slider on the right to adjust the brightness (for example, set it to 72).
