Swiping with three fingers down on the touchscreen triggers a function for displaying the desktop in Windows 11

Problem

After the user installs PC Manager on a computer running Windows 11, they swipe down with three fingers on the touchscreen. However, instead of taking a screenshot, the desktop is displayed.

Cause

The three-finger swipe down gesture on the touchscreen is for taking a screenshot with PC Manager, while the gesture displays the desktop in Windows 11.

Solution

  1. It is a new feature in Windows 11 that the three-finger swipe down gesture on the touchscreen displays the desktop. Once the PC Manager version is 11.1.5 or later, the gesture will not trigger the screenshot feature and will make the computer display the desktop.

To find out the computer system version, perform the following steps:

    (a) Click the Windows icon on the taskbar and select Settings.

    (b) On the Settings screen, go to System > About.

    (c) Check whether the current operating system is Windows 11.

  2. If you need to take a screenshot, click the PC Manager icon and select .
