Original Install Date may differ from your purchase date as it indicates the date when the Windows system was installed on your computer. This is done usually before the computer is shipped from the factory, stored, transported, and purchased. If you have recently reinstalled the system (by pressing F10 to restore the system to its factory settings or pressing F8 to reinstall the system), Original Install Date of the system will become the date when the system was reinstalled.
